1.Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.3).

2.Position the computer with the left side toward you.

3.Remove the Torx8 T8M2.5×4.0 screw 1 that secures the optical drive to the computer.

4.Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver into the slot 2 on the bottom of the computer and push the tab.

5.Remove the optical drive 3 from the computer.
