●Access Printheads — moves the printhead carriage to the center of the rail for inspection.
●Print Recover Jets Pattern — prints a special pattern designed to recover missing inkjets. After printing this pattern, the prime bars are printed.
●Printhead Procedures
◦Load Ink in All Heads — fills all printheads with ink. Typically used only when installing a new printer.
◦Fill Heads with Ink — fills the printheads that you select with ink.
◦Empty Heads (Fill With Air) — fills the printheads that you select with air.
●Ink Filter Counts — the printer's ink filters will eventually become clogged and need to be replaced. You can view the volume of ink that has passed through each filter by selecting this option. The service technician will reset these counts after replacing the ink filters.
●Purge Type — sets the purge type used when you press Purge on the Home Page screen: Standard or Performance. Performance is more effective, but uses more ink than Standard uses.
●Low Ink Warning — defines the amount of ink remaining at which the printer will display a “low ink” message on the control panel.
●Set Auto Purge & Wipe Interval — you can set the number of prints after which the printer will automatically perform a purge and wipe of the printheads. This is intended to keep the jets working during an extended period of unattended printing on
●Idle Spit While Printing (white ink only) — you can choose whether to have the white ink spit ink into the service station when printing
●Upgrade Printer For White Ink Use — this option is displayed before the white ink upgrade option has been installed. It enables you to install the white ink upgrade. Refer to the instructions that are included in the white ink option accessory kit for details.
●Change Color Set — this option is displayed after the white ink upgrade option has been installed. It enables you to convert the printer from
