6. Recording and Playback

Using the built-in hard disk drive, you can record a programme without an external media device such as a VCR.

6.1 Instant Recording

Press the RECORD button on the remote control to record the current programme instantly. You can select the point you want to

record using the button. Press the RECORD button to start instant recording from that point.

To record another channel, change channels while recording and press

the RECORD button again. You can record up to two channels simultaneously. While doing so, you can perform TSR (Time Shifted Recording) and view the programmes on air.

If you press the STOP button while recording two other channels, you will be prompted to select a recording you wish to stop.

If you press the RECORD button while recording two other channels, you will be prompted to select a recording you want to stop and replace with a new recording.

Ensure that there is enough free space before recording. If the free space on the hard disk drive is insufficient, recording will stop. Recording one hour of programme may require up to 2 or 3GB of hard disk space. The space for recording a 1 hour programme may differ depending on the programme.

You can record radio programmes also.
