15.1 Trouble Shooting

Beforecontacting your local service centre, please read the tips below carefully. If the problem persists after completing
thefollowing procedure, please contact your local product distributor or service centre for further instructions.
** 1. No message displayed on the front panel. (The product will not switch on.)
**
Checkthe main power cable and make sure it is plugged into a suitable power outlet.
Checkthat the mains supply is switched on.
Checkthat the power switch is on at the rear of the product. (where applicable)
Connectthe power cable to a different power outlet.
2. No picture on TV set
**
Makesure that the product is powered on and in operation mode. (Press the STANDBY button)
Makesure that the AV cable is firmly connected to the TV.
Makesure that the cable is properly connected to the product.
Besure to activate channel search.
Checkthe brightness level of the TV.
Checkif the channel is currently on air. Contact the broadcaster to ensure that the channel is running.
Pressthe SOURCE button if the product is in external input mode.
3. No or poor sound

Checkthat your AV cable is connected correctly.
Checkthe volume levels of your TV set and the product.
Checkif the product or TV is on mute.
Checkaudio type or soundtrack option in the AV menu.
4. Remote control does not operate.
**
Tocontrol the product, the top end of the remote control should point directly towards the receiving part of the
product.
Removeand reinsert the batteries in the remote control.
Replacethe batteries in the remote control for a new set.
5. Cannot make reservations.
**
Checkthat no previous reservations are conflicting with the new reservation.
Checkthat the product is switched on at the time of the reservation.
6. No password information is given.
**
Thedefault password is always 0000.
7. Channel search does not work.
**
Checkthat your cable is connected correctly.
