Drift Cutters (AA)

Use the drift cutters to cut through deep snowdrifts that are higher than the front of the snow thrower.

•Loosen upper adjustment nut (1) enough to allow drift cutter to be raised to highest position and tighten nut securely. Repeat for opposite side of snow thrower.

•When not using drift cutters, loosen adjustment nut, lower to storage posi- tion and tighten nut securely.

Wehenschneider (AA)

Benutzen Sie die Wehenschneider zum Durchschneiden von tiefen Schnee- wehen, die höher als die Vorderseite des Schneeräumers sind.

•Lockern Sie die obere Stellmutter (1) so weit, dass der Wehenschneider in die höchste Stellung gebracht werden kann und ziehen Sie die Mutter dann fest an. Wiederholen Sie das an der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Schneeräumers.

•Wenn Sie die Wehenschneider nicht verwenden, lockern Sie die Stellmut- ter, senken sie die Wehenschneider auf die Lagerstellung ab und ziehen Sie die Mutter dann fest an.

Coupeurs de Dérive (AA)

Utilisez les coupeurs de dérive pour couper à travers les congères profondes qui sont plus hautes que le devant de la souffleuse à neige.

•Desserrez le boulon d’ajustement supérieur (1) de manière à pouvoir soulever le coupeur de dérive à la position la plus élevée et resserrez ensuite fermement le boulon. Répétez les mêmes étapes sur l’autre côté de la souffleuse à neige.

•Lorsque les coupeurs de dérive ne sont pas utilisés, desserrez les boulons d’ajustement, abaissez les coupeurs dans la position d’entreposage, et resserrez ensuite fermement les boulons.

Cortadores de Acumulaciones (AA)

Usar los cortadores de acumulaciones para cortar a través de acumulaciones de nieve que son más altas que la parte frontal del quitanieves.

•Aflojar la tuerca de ajuste superior (1) para permitir que el cortador de acumulaciones suba hasta la posición más alta y apretar firmemente. Repetir para el lado opuesto del quitanieves.

•Cuando no se usan los cortadores de acumulaciones, aflojar la tuerca de ajuste, bajar hasta la posición de almacenaje y apretar la tuerca de modo seguro.

Sneeuwmessen (AA)

Gebruik de sneeuwmessen om door diepe sneeuwhopen te snijden, die hoger zijn dan de voorkant van de sneeuwruimer.

•Haal de bovenste afstelmoer (1) zover los dat het sneeuwmes naar de hoogste positie kan worden gebracht en draai de moer weer goed vast. Herhaal dat voor de andere kant van de sneeuwruimer.

•Als de sneeuwmessen niet worden gebruikt, haal de afstelmoer dan los, breng de cutters omlaag naar de opslagpositie en draai de moer dan weer stevig vast.

Frese per cumuli (AA)

Utilizzare le frese per cumuli per spianare cumuli di neve più alti rispetto alla parte anteriore del dispositivo lancia neve.

•Allentare il dado di regolazione superiore (1) quanto basa per consentire il sollevamento della fresa per cumuli nella posizione più elevata, quindi serrarlo saldamente. Ripetere l’operazione sul lato opposto del dispositivo lancia neve.

•Quando non si usano le frese per cumuli, allentare il dado di regolazione, abbassarle nella posizione di riposo e serrare il dado saldamente.

BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE

Check engine oil level (Q)

The engine on your snow thrower has been shipped, from the factory, already filled with oil.

1.Check engine oil with snow thrower on level ground.

2.Remove oil fill cap/dipstick and wipe clean, reinsert the dipstick and screw tight, wait for a few seconds, remove and read oil level. If necessary, add oil until “FULL” mark on dipstick is reached. Do not overfill.

•To change engine oil, see “TO CHANGE ENGINE OIL” in the Maintenance section of this manual.

Add gasoline (R)

•Fill fuel tank to bottom of tank filler neck. Do not overfill. Use fresh, clean, regular unleaded gasoline with a minimum of 87 octane. Do not mix oil with gasoline. Purchase fuel in quantities that can be used within 30 days to assure fuel freshness.

WARNING: Wipe off any spilled oil or fuel. Do not store, spill or use gasoline near an open flame.
