Power management features

Two power management modes are available in the c puter system to reduce power consumption and to battery life.

Standby mode: When in standby mode, the fol- lowing occurs:

Ÿ The LCD backlight turns off.

ŸThe hard disk motor either spins down or stop

trolled by OS).

ŸCPU enters stop-grant mode.
