FRU removals and replacements

This section contains information about removals and replacements.

ŸDo not damage any parts. Only certified and

personnel should service the computer.

ŸThe arrows in this section show the direction

ment	to remove	a FRU,	or	to turn a screw to
the	FRU. The	arrows	are	marked in numeric or

square callout, to show the correct sequence removal.

and follow any notes that pertain to replaceme

ŸWhen replacing a FRU, use the correct screw shown in the procedure.

Verify this by shaking th puter and listening for rattling sounds. Metallic metal flakes can cause electrical shorts.

Attention: The system board is sensitive and can damaged by electronic discharge. Establish person grounding by touching a ground point with one hand touching these units.
