3.2 Using the TCP protocol directly

Supports the DCON communication protocol on the Ethernet port. A TCP program can be used to develop Ethernet Applications to communicate with Ethernet port 9999 of the 8430/8830/8KE4/8KE8.

The following steps show how to use VB Winsock component .

Step 1. Connect to the Ethernet controller

Step 2. Send command with cr

Step 3. Receive data from Ethernet controller

Step 4. Close connection.
