Auto Channel Set
Perform Auto Channel Set only if channels have not been set
correctly by the Plug & Play setting.
1Press HDD or DVD so that the HDD or DVD lamp lights up on
the unit.
2Press SET UP to access the Main Menu screen.
3Press selection keys to select AINITIAL SET UPB, then press
G.
4Press selection keys to select
ATUNER SETB, then press G.
5Press selection keys to select
AAUTO CH SETB, then press
ENTER. You can automatically
set the receivable channels in
your area in the order of their
frequencies.
●When Auto Channel Set is
complete, ASCAN
COMPLETEDB appears on the
TV screen.
●If the scan was unsuccessful, ASCAN COMPLETED –NO
SIGNAL–B appears on screen. Check the connections and start
again.
6Press SET UP to complete the setting.
Manual Channel Set
You can add the channels you want or delete the channels you do
not want manually.
1Press HDD or DVD so that the HDD or DVD lamp lights up on
the unit.
2Press SET UP to access the Main Menu screen.
3Press selection keys to select AINITIAL SET UPB, then press
ENTER.
4Press selection keys to select ATUNER SETB, then press G.
5Press selection keys to select AMANUAL CH SETB, then press
ENTER.
6Press selection keys to select ABANDB, then press ENTER.
Press selection keys to select either ATVB or ACATVB, then
press ENTER.
7Add or skip the desired
channels.
To add channels
APress selection keys to select
ACHB, then press ENTER.
BPress the number keys to
enter a channel number you
want to add, then press
ENTER.
CPress selection keys to select AADD/SKIPB, then press
ENTER.
DPress selection keys to select AADDB, then press ENTER.
ERepeat B – D to add other channels.
To skip channels
APress selection keys to select ACHB, then press ENTER.
BPress selection keys to select a channel number you want to
skip, then press ENTER.
CPress selection keys to select AADD/SKIPB, then press
ENTER.
DPress selection keys to select ASKIPB, then press ENTER.
ERepeat B – D to skip other channels.
8Press SET UP to complete the setting.
Tuner Set
●Turn on the unit.
●Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.
●Slide the TV/CABLE/DBS/DVD switch to DVD.
INFORMATION
The unit selects the correct mode (TV or CATV) automatically
during Auto Channel Set. The selected mode (TV or CATV) will
be displayed on the right side of ABANDB on the Manual Tuner
Set screen.
