Changing the brightness of the display window
■When the main unit is turned on
Press [DIMMER] repeatedly.•Each time you press [DIMMER], the setting in the display window changes as follows.
“DIMMER 1” *1 
“DIMMER 2” *2
“DIMMER OFF” *4 
“DIMMER AUTO” *3
*1 The display window becomes darker than the normal display brightness.
*2 The display window becomes darker than “DIMMER 1”.
*3 When a video disc/file is played back, the display window becomes darker automatically.
*4 The normal display brightness is restored.
Turning off the display window
You can turn off the display window when the main unit is turned off.
■When the main unit is turned off
Press [DIMMER] repeatedly.
•Each time you press [DIMMER], the setting tog- gles between “DISPLAY ON” and “DISPLAY OFF” in the display window.
Locking disc ejection
You can lock the disc tray to prevent the disc from being ejected.
