If your entry is ignored

You have tried to program a title/track/group number that does not exist on the disc (for example, selecting track 14 on a disc that only has 12 tracks). Such entries are ignored, and are erased from the program.

To check the programed contents

On the TV:

&Before or after playback

Press PLAY MODE.

&During playback

Press 7.

The programed contents appear on the TV.

To erase the play mode screen, press PLAY MODE again.

You can play disc’s contents at random.

Random Play cannot be used on some DVD discs.

If a JPEG disc is loaded, it is not played back during Random Play.

On the remote control ONLY:

1 Load discs.

2 Press PLAY MODE repeatedly until “RANDOM” appears on the display.

• Each time you press the button, the play mode changes as follows:

3 Press DISC 3.

Playback starts in a random order.

Random Play ends when all the contents are played once.

To skip the current playing item, press ¢ (or turn 4 / ¢ on the front panel clockwise).

You cannot go back to the previous chapter, track, or file in Random Play.

You can modify the program before or after playing.

To erase the last step, press CANCEL while holding down SHIFT.

• Each time you press CANCEL, the last programed step is erased.

To add steps in the program before play, simply select the numbers you want to add by pressing the number buttons.

To erase the entire program, press 7 before or after playback.

• Turning off the unit will also erase the program.

To exit from Program Play

Press PLAY MODE repeatedly until the PROGRAM indicator goes off from the display before or after playback.

To exit from Random Play

Press PLAY MODE repeatedly until the RANDOM indicator goes off from the display before or after playback.

• Turning off the unit will also cancel Random Play.
