Operations through the MP3/JPEG CONTROL Screens

You can search for and play the desired files in a group through the MP3/JPEG CONTROL screens shown on TV.

5 For MP3:

Press DISC 3 (or ENTER).

Playback starts from the selected file.

For JPEG:

Press DISC 3.

Slide-show starts from the selected file.

Press ENTER to show the selected file as a still picture.

While a JPEG file is played back, the JPEG CONTROL screen disappears.

To stop playback, press 7.

If a black screen continuously appears in Slide-show

The file currently played may be non-baseline JPEG file. In this case, select a playable file (a baseline JPEG file) again (e.g., pressing 7 or MENU to show the JPEG CONTROL screen, etc.). Note that it may take a long time to select another file.

7Repeating Playback—Repeat Play

You can repeat playback.

About the MP3/JPEG CONTROL screens

On the remote control ONLY:

Press REPEAT during or before play.

Each time you press the button, Repeat Play mode changes as follows:

Some group and file names may not be displayed correctly because of their recording conditions.

The order of groups and files on an MP3/JPEG disc may be displayed differently from the order displayed on your personal computer.

Up to 12 groups and files are displayed on the TV at a time. Pressing cursor 5//3/2 repeatedly shows the succeeding groups and files one by one.

For MP3:

REPEAT TRACK ] REPEAT GROUP ] REPEAT DISC ]

REPEAT ALL ] canceled ] (back to the beginning)

For JPEG:

REPEAT GROUP ] REPEAT DISC ] REPEAT ALL ]

canceled ] (back to the beginning)

REPEAT TRACK Repeats the current track (the REPEAT 1 indicator lights up on the display)

7Basic MP3/JPEG CONTROL Operations

1 Press cursor 2 to move the highlight bar to the group list.

2 Press cursor / 5 repeatedly to select a group.

When you select a group, the file list of the selected group is shown on the right.

3 Press cursor 3 to move the highlight bar to the right file list.

REPEAT GROUP Repeats the current group (the REPEAT indicator lights up on the display)

REPEAT DISC Repeats all tracks on the current disc (the REPEAT 1DISC indicator lights up on the display)

REPEAT ALL Repeats all the discs loaded on the disc trays or all steps of the program (the REPEAT ALL indicator lights up on the display)

To stop playing, press 7.

To cancel Repeat Play, press REPEAT repeatedly until Repeat Play mode indicators go off from the display.

• Turning off the unit will also cancel Repeat Play.
