The GY-DV300 indicates the accumulated hours of drum running time by means of the HOUR METER displayed on the LCD screen or viewfinder screen.

Display of the HOUR METER is selected by the DRUM HOUR item on the VTR menu screen. This is used as yardstick for periodical maintenance. (See page 9.)

3. Press the MENU button to display the TOP MENU screen.

4. Rotate the SELECT dial to align the cursor (f) with the VTR SET item, and then press the SELECT dial.

The VTR menu screen is displayed.

The accumulated drum running time is indicated after the DRUM HOUR item on the VTR menu screen.

5. To return to the normal screen, use either of the following methods.

Press the MENU button or

Return to the TOP MENU screen and then select the EXIT item from the TOP MENU screen before pressing the SELECT dial.
