To reset the camera when it does not operate normally
! Open the LCD monitor and turn off the camera using the POWER/DISP button before
detaching the battery pack.
# And remove the power supply (battery pack or AC adapter) from the camera, then reattach it.
$ Execute [FACTORY PRESET].

SET DATE/TIME! • Set the clock. After that, charge the internal battery for more than
24 hours by connecting to the AC adapter. If the message still
appears, consult your nearest JVC dealer.
COMMUNICATING ERROR • Be sure to use JVC battery packs. (Files recorded with other
devices that support AVCHD cannot be played back on this
camera.)

VIDEO MODE • Replace the SD card. (Files recorded with other devices that

NOT FORMATTED • Select [OK] and select [YES] to perform formatting.

MEMORY CARD ERROR!
• Perform formatting. (All data is deleted.)
• Remove and re-insert the SD card. (MultiMediaCard cannot be

• Remove any dirt from the SD card terminals.
• Insert the SD card before switching the power on.
• Turn off the camera, and turn it on again.
