3 Press CH5° or TIME SCAN5° to move the highlight bar (arrow) to “AUTO PICTURE”, then press OK.

2 Press MENU as many times as necessary.

Auto Picture compensates for variations in tape characteristics to ensure the best possible playback picture. It checks and compensates for the condition of the tape at the beginning of automatic tracking when playback is selected. The default setting is "ON".

Preparation

TURN ON THE VCR

Press POWER.

Move the highlight bar (arrow) to "ON" by pressing CH5° or TIME SCAN5°.

NOTE:

When using rental tapes, or tapes recorded on other VCRs, select "ON" or "OFF" as desired to give the best picture.

RETURN TO NORMAL SCREEN
