NOTES:

● If the tape being played back has no Hi-Fi soundtrack, the Normal soundtrack will be heard no matter what choice you make at the Audio Monitor screen.

● If you select "HI-FI" or "MIX", the L and R symbols near the audio level meters will be illuminated. L and R will be deactivated when playing back a normal (mono) tape.

● If RF connection is used for TV, even if Hi-Fi audio monitor is selected the sound will be mono and will be reproduced in both loudspeakers.

Select The Soundtrack

Your VCR can record two soundtracks simultaneously (Normal and Hi-Fi) and play back the selected one, or both together.

	ACCESS MAIN MENU
	SCREEN
	Press MENU as many times as necessary during
1 playback or when VCR is in stop mode.
	ACCESS FUNCTION SET
	SCREEN
	Move the highlight bar (arrow) to "FUNCTION SET" by
2 pressing CH5° or TIME SCAN5°, then press OK.
	ACCESS AUDIO SELECT
	SCREEN
	Move the highlight bar			FUNCTION
	(arrow) to "AUDIO		AUTO TIMER
3 SELECT" by pressing			SUPERIMPOSE
3 SELECT" by pressing			=AUDIO SELECT
	CH5° or TIME SCAN5°,		AUX INPUT
	then press OK.		SPECIAL FUNCTION

			PRESS (5,°), THEN (OK)
			PRESS (MENU) TO END

	ACCESS AUDIO MONITOR
	SCREEN
	Move the highlight bar			AUDIO SELECT
	(arrow) to "AUDIO			AUDIO SELECT
	(arrow) to "AUDIO
4 MONITOR" by pressing			2ND AUDIO
4 MONITOR" by pressing			=AUDIO MONITOR
	CH5° or TIME SCAN5°,		TIMESCAN AUDIO
	then press OK.		HI-FI REC LEVEL

			PRESS (5,°), THEN (OK)
			PRESS (MENU) TO END

	SELECT MODE
	You have three choices:		AUDIO MONITOR
	a– Hi-Fi		AUDIO MONITOR
	a– Hi-Fi
5 b– Normal
				HI–FI
				=
				NORM
	c– Mix			MIX
				MIX
	Move the highlight bar
	(arrow) to your choice by
	pressing CH5°or TIME		PRESS (5,°) TO SELECT
SCAN .			PRESS (MENU) TO END
