5.2LOG PLACEMENT

LOGS MUST BE PLACED IN THEIR EXACT LOCATION IN THE APPLIANCE. DO NOT MODIFY THE PROPER LOG POSITIONS, SINCE APPLIANCE MAY NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY AND DELAYED IGNITION MAY OCCUR.
THE LOGS ARE FRAGILE AND SHOULD BE HANDLED WITH CARE.

PHAZERTM logs, glowing embers and charcoal embers exclusive to Wolf Steel Ltd. fireplaces, glow when exposed to direct flame and provide a unique and realistic glowing effect that is different in every installation. Use only certified PHAZERTM logs, glowing embers and charcoal embers available from your local authorized dealer / distributor.
Log colours may vary. During the initial use of the appliance, the colours will become more uniform as colour pigments burn in during the heat activated curing process.
5.2.1Place the back log into the firebox, pushing it as close to the firebox wall as possible and centered onto the log support pan.
5.2.2Place the front log on the ember screen lining up the studs with the holes on the bottom of the log.
NOTE: The ember screen is adjustable front to back. To avoid flame impingement on propane move the ember screen to the back most position. Loosen the two screws that secure the ember screen, move the screen back and retighten the screws.
The glowing ember screen is positioned in the
flame to maximize the glow effect. Even though it is constructed of the highest quality material, it is subject to deterioration over time and consequently will need to be replaced. Replacement of the ember screen is not covered under the warranty policy
