Playing an external component 3 Adjust the volume.

You can connect an external components to the LINE IN plugs on the rear.

•If you cannot select “LINE IN” as the source, change the “Line In” setting to “On.” (See page 49.)

1 Select the external component (LINE IN).

4 Select the DSP mode and sound mode as you want.

• For the DSP modes, see page 32.

• For the sound (iEQ) modes, see page 35.

Each time you press the button, the source changes as described on page 7. When you select a source, the power automatically comes on.

Note:

When the source is “LINE IN,” the DISP (D) button will not work.

If you have assigned a different name to the external component, it will appear.

2 Turn on the connected component and start playing the source.
