What is AAC?

AAC, licensed by Dolby Laboratories, is high-quality
sound encoding technology, enabling us to compress
sounds without losing the brilliance of the original.
AAC can eliminate over 90 percent of the original
signal data without noticeable sound quality
deterioration.
Even compared to MP3 technology, AAC can provide
higher-quality sound reproduction, with about 30
percent less data volume.
