Playing at Random—Random Play

All the tracks in the HDD will play at random and repeat endlessly.

On the remote control ONLY:

1 Press HDD 3/8, then 7.

The source is changed to “HDD.”

2 Press FM/PLAY MODE repeatedly until “HDD

RANDOM” appears in the main display.

The RANDOM and indicators light up on the display.

Each time you press the button, play modes change as follows:

*The last recorded (or edited) album will be selected as the current album when “HDD RANDOM” appears in the main display while selecting a play mode you want.

3 Press HDD 3/8.

All tracks in the HDD are played repeatedly and endlessly.

To skip the playing track, press ¢.

You cannot go back to the previous tracks by pressing

4.

To stop during play, press 7.

To exit from Random play mode, press FM/PLAY MODE repeatedly after stopping the playback so that the unit enters another play mode (Continuous play, Album play, or Library play).

Pressing one of the number buttons also starts Continuous play with the track selected with the number button.

You cannot select a library or album during

Random play

During Random play, you cannot use the following buttons—

LIBRARY, ALBUM +/–, and ALBUM / .

Repeating Tracks—Repeat Play

You can repeat the tracks in the HDD as many times as you like. What you can repeat differs depending on the current play mode selected—Continuous play, Album play, Library play, or Random play.

On the remote control ONLY:

To repeat play, press REPEAT during or before play. The corresponding Repeat indicator lights up on the display.

REPEAT ALL : For Continuous and Random plays: Repeats all the tracks in the HDD. For Album play: Repeats all the tracks in the current or selected album.

For Library play: Repeats all the albums in the current or selected library.

REPEAT 1TRK: Repeats one track.

REPEAT OFF : Cancels Repeat play except for Random play.

To cancel Repeat play, press REPEAT repeatedly until “REPEAT OFF” appears in the main display.

The Repeat indicator goes off from the display.

You cannot cancel Repeat play during Random play

During Random play, you can only select either “REPEAT ALL” or “REPEAT 1TRK.”
