Recording FM/AM Broadcasts

This unit is equipped with the following recording modes to record broadcast programs.

AAC128kbps : AAC format is used at the bit rate of 128 kbps.

AAC 96kbps : AAC format is used at the bit rate of 96 kbps.

1 Tune in to a station you want (see page 18).

2 Press REC MODE on the unit to select the recording mode.

*Remaining recording time is calculated based on the current setting of the recording mode.

When the broadcast program ends, press 7 to stop recording.

The following message appears in the main display.

Press LIBRARY to select a library where you store the recording just done.

Each time you press LIBRARY, the library changes— “Library 1” to “Library 10.”

If you do not select any library within one minute, Library 1 is automatically selected.

Press SET to finish the recording.

“ENTRY” flashes in the main display for a while.

Ex. When selecting “AAC128kbps”

Each time you press the button, the recording modes change as follows:

AAC128kbps AAC 96kbps

The indicator corresponding to the selected recording mode lights up on the display.

3 Press REC START to start recording.

The REC indicator lights up on the display and the recording starts.

You cannot start recording using this method while Tuner Auto Recording is being performed (see page 42 and 43).

While recording, you cannot change the source or station

If you need to change the source or station, stop recording first.

To assign track numbers manually while recording

Press SET at the place where you want to assign another track number.

“TRK INCRE. (increment)” appears in the main display for a while.
