3 Select a track you want to move from.

1)Press ALBUM + or ALBUM – to select an album.

2)Press SELECT ¢or SELECT 4to select a track.

You can select the track directly using the number buttons. In this case, the selected track starts playback repeatedly.

3)Press SET.

Ex. When moving Track 5 from Album 5

4 Select the position (track number) you want to move to.

1)Press ALBUM + or ALBUM – to select an album.

2)Press SELECT ¢or SELECT 4to select the position (track number).

To move the track as the last track in the selected album, select “END.”

Dividing a Track—DIVIDE

This function separate a track into two tracks.

The subsequent tracks are automatically renumbered.

When the original track has a title, two separate tracks are reassigned the same title as the original track.

You cannot set a dividing point within the first 4 seconds and the last 3 seconds of a track.

On the remote control ONLY:

If the HDD includes many albums and tracks, select the album and track using Search Mode (see page 34) before performing the procedure below.

1 Press TITLE/EDIT repeatedly until “TRACK EDIT?” appears in the main display, then press SET.

The source changes to “HDD” automatically if another source has been selected.

Ex. When moving into Album 9 as the last track

5 Press ENTER.

The HDD lamp flashes in red.

“PLEASE WAIT” appears while the editing you have made is being stored in the HDD.

If you have performed the above procedure during play, HDD playback stops.

If “CANNOT ENTRY LIB.” appears in the main display

You have selected the album in “Library TUNER,” or you have selected an album including 254 tracks (fully recorded album) in step 4.

You cannot move a track into such albums.
