AV COMPU LINK remote control system

The AV COMPU LINK remote control system allows you to operate JVC TVs through the center unit. To use this remote control system, follow the diagrams and procedure explained here.

The AV COMPU LINK setting is performed in the OTHERS menu of the choice menus. See page 62 for operations.

Refer also to the manual supplied with your TV.

Connection and setup

Connecting a TV

1Connect the center unit to a TV via the AV COMPU LINK jacks using the supplied AV COMPU LINK cord.

2 Set the AV COMPU LINK setting in the OTHERS menu as follows.

See page 62 to set the AV COMPU LINK setting.

When connecting to the VIDEO-3 (DVD) input jack of the TV: Select “DVD1” (Initial setting).

When connecting to the VIDEO-1 input jack of the TV: Select “DVD2.”

When connecting to the VIDEO-2 input jack of the TV: Select “DVD3.”

Connecting a TV and VCR

• Refer also to the manual supplied with your VCR.

1Connect the center unit to a TV and VCR via the AV COMPU LINK jacks using the AV COMPU LINK cords.

• You need two AV COMPU LINK cords to make these connections. (Only one cord is supplied with this system.)
