HDD/DVD Deck: Functions only during playback. Activates forward search. Forward search speed changes in the order

of 1.5x, FWD1 - FWD5 for HDD and FWD1 - FWD4 for DVD via each operation.

Mini DV Deck: Fast forward. Search Fwd during playback.

Rec Request: For issuing approval for recording. This can be cleared using STOP.
