Manual background As the speaker position mode is changed, the following settings are also changed automatically:

The output level settings of the speakers and subwoofer (see below) are initialized.

The surround mode (Manual backgroundManual background 13) is set to “AUTO SUR.”

the selected speaker position mode (see the

left column).

When the speaker position mode is “S.SPK R”:
FRNT L = FRNT R = CENTER = SURR L
=SURR R = SUBWFR = (back to the beginning)
When the speaker position mode is “S.SPK F”:
CENTER = SURR = SUBWFR = (back to the beginning)
2Adjust the output level.

Manual background Different output level settings can be stored for the following two groups of sources:

TH-D60: DVD, USB, IPod, VIDEO1*1, VIDEO2

TH-D50/TH-D5/TH-D4: DVD, USB, IPod, VIDEO

TH-D60: FM, AM and VIDEO1*2

TH-D50/TH-D5/TH-D4: FM and AM

Manual background TH-D60 only: When the source is “XM,” this adjustment is not available.
