Changing the initial settings

To set the delay time

You can adjust the delay time of each speaker. Selecting each speaker distance, which is on the basis of the distance between the front speakers and the listening position, sets an appropriate delay time. Check that what the distance to each speaker is and set distance values following the procedure.

CENTER SPEAKER: Center speaker

 

 

REAR SPEAKER:

Rear speakers

3 Use 5/to select the delay time and press

ENTER.

When you select [CENTER SPEAKER], you can select the delay time from [0.0m] to [1.5m] in 30cm units.

When you select [REAR SPEAKER], you can select the delay time from [0.0m] to [4.5m] in 30cm units.

4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 if you set other speakers.

• To return to the [SPK.SETTING] page

Use 5/to move to [RETURN] and press ENTER.

NOTE

• For the speaker(s) whose size is set to [NONE], the delay time cannot be set.

To set the speaker level

You can adjust the output level of each speaker.

3 Use 5/to set the level and press ENTER.

When you select [CENTER SPEAKER], [REAR SPEAKER] or [SUB WOOFER], you can select the level from –6 to 6dB in 1dB units.

4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 if you set other speakers.

• To return to the [SPK.SETTING] page

Use 5/to move to [RETURN] and press ENTER.

NOTE

• For the speaker(s) whose size is set to [NONE], the speaker level cannot be set.
