DETERGENT AND DISPENSER USE
A Word About Detergents
HE detergents produce fewer suds, dissolve more efficient- ly to improve washing and rinsing performance, and help to keep the interior of your washer clean.

For proper wash performance, always measure the detergent using the measure provided with the detergent by the manufacturer.
The normal amount needed for average loads is less than 1/2 of the recommended maximum. Use less detergent for soft water, light soil or smaller loads. Never use more than the maximum amount recommended by the detergent manufacturer.
Riling the Dispenser
To add detergent, bleach, and fabric softener to the automatic dispenser:
0 Open the dispenser drawer.
OLoad the laundry products into the appropriate compartments.
Close the drawer before starting the cycle.
NOTE: It is normal for a small amount of water to remain in the bleach and softener compartments at the end of the cycle.
IMPORTANT: Do not place or store laundry products, such as detergent, bleach, or liquid fabric softener, on top of our washer or dryer. Wipe up any spills immediately. These products can damage the finish and controls.
Using the Liquid Bleach Dispenser
The bleach dispenser automatically dilutes and dispenses liquid chlorine bleach at the proper time in the wash cycle.

(High-Efficiency) detergent
IMPORTANT: Your washing machine is designed for use with only
IMPORTANT: Not all detergents are the same. Careful attention must be paid to the amount of detergent used to avoid overusing, poor rinsing and detergent buildup in clothing, and residue buildup that can contribute to odors in the machine. NEVER use a cup or scoop other than that supplied by the manufacturer of the detergent you are using. Never use more than the maximum amount recommended by the manufacturer of the detergent.
While HE detergents are designed for this type of washing machine, care must be used when measuring the deter- gent. For most normal loads, no more than 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup or scoop of HE detergent should be used.
NOTE: Extra care must be exercised when using 2X and 3X concentrated detergents because even a little bit extra can contribute to the problems mentioned above.

Measure liquid bleach carefully, following instructions on the bottle.
•Never pour undiluted liquid chlorine bleach directly onto clothes or into the wash basket.
•Do not pour powdered bleach into bleach dispenser. Do not place load items on top of the
bleach dispenser when loading and unloading the washer.
•Avoid overfilling or splashing when adding bleach to the dispenser. The maximum capacity of the bleach dispenser is one cup of bleach per wash cycle. Overfilling could result in premature dispensing of bleach.
O Before starting the washer, pour a premeasured amount of bleach directly into bleach dispenser. If you prefer to use powdered bleach, add it into the wash basket directly before adding clothes.
NOTE: Please flush the bleach dispenser with water after bleach use and then rinse out the
residue by use of Rinse & Spin cycle.
