■Installation

Remove the factory-installed car stereo and install the unit that was assembled in Assembly.

1Install the mounting sleeve (Accessory3) on the car side with the face labeled "UP" facing upwards.

Press in as far as this position.

2Bend the tabs of the mounting sleeve(Accessory3) with a screwdriver or similar utensil and attach it in place.

3Connect the wires from the car side, and then insert the assembled unit into the mounting sleeve.

NOTE

In the case of an Audi, a Volkswagen, or any other model where rubber bushes (Accessories 8 and 9) are used, install the unit so that the rubber bushes on the rear panel fit into the holes on the car side.

Align the holes in the unit (two locations on each side) with the vehicle mounting bracket and secure the unit with the accessory screws.
