Cartridge Light

Light Status	Cause	Action/Solution
Light glows steady	The color cartridge is	1	Install a new color
red	depleted.		cartridge (page 6).
		2	Press Print to clear
			error and resume
			printing.
	Excess slack in color	1	Remove color
	cartridge ribbon.		cartridge, and
			remove slack
			(page 6).
		2	Re-install the color
			cartridge.
		3	Press Print to clear
			error and resume
			printing.
Light blinks red	The color cartridge is	1	Remove and re-
	improperly installed.		install the color
			cartridge (page 6).
		2	Press Print to clear
			error and resume
			printing.
	There is a color cartridge	1	Install a new color
	jam.		cartridge (page 6).
		2	Press Print to clear
			error and resume
			printing.
