Introduction

Introduction

The KODAK DP2000 Digital Projector is specifically designed for the mobile presenter. It packs XGA 1024 x 768 graphics with

16.7million colors into a small, 4.8 pound package. It generates crisp, clear images using Digital Light Processing™ (DLP) technology. The DP2000 is easy to connect, easy to use, easy to transport, and easy to maintain.

Included with the DP2000 is Kodak’s exclusive Image Manager feature. With this feature you can select the image display setting best suited for your specific presentation material and projection environment.

Image Resolution

The XGA resolution of the DP2000’s projected image is 1024 x 768. The projector cannot compress screen resolutions above 1024 x 768. If your computer’s screen resolution is higher than 1024 x 768, reset it to a lower resolution before you connect the projector.

The DP2000 automatically expands 640 x 480 and 800 x 600 images to 1024 x 768. You can display these images at their native resolutions by turning off the Auto Resize feature. See “Auto Resize” on page 28 for more information.

Compatibility

The projector is compatible with a wide variety of computers and video devices, including:

IBM-compatible computers, including laptops, up to 1024 x 768 resolution.

APPLE MACINTOSH and POWERBOOK computers up to 1024 x 768 resolution.

Most standard VCRs, DVD players, camcorders and laser disc players.
