-Bit 6 of mode 380 is set to “1”.

-The SMTP authentication user name & password and the POP3 user name & password are being shared, and bit 2 of mode 380 is set to “0”.

-The SMTP authentication user name and & password and the POP3 user name & password are not being shared, bit 2 of mode 380 is set to “1”, and “SMTP Authentication User Name” and “SMTP Authentication User Password” are specified in the Network Settings screen.

-Either bit 5, 4, or 3 of mode 380 is set to “0”.

(*2)When all of the authentication functions are enabled (bits 5, 4, and 3 are set to “0”), the priority is given in the order of “CRAM-MD5 authentication (bit 5)”, “LOGIN authentication (bit 4)”, and “PLAIN authentication (bit 3)”.
