Utility Mode – Copy Functions Chapter 7
To specify the erased width (“ERASE SETTING” function)
1Select the “COPY SETTING 1” menu.
❍Refer to “To select the “COPY
SETTING 1” menu” on page7-39.
2Press the [7] key from the 10-Key Pad
to select “ERASE SETTING”.
3Using the and keys, select
“LEFT”, “UPPER” or “FRAME”, and
then press the [Yes] key.
4Using the 10-Key Pad, enter the width
of the area to be erased, and then
press the [Yes] key.
❍The width of the area to be erased
can be set between 3/16 inch
(5mm) and 13/16 inch (20 mm).
❍If you wish to correct the setting, press the [No/C] key, and then enter the
new number.
The “COPY SETTING 1” menu appears again.
