Before Making Copies Chapter 5

To load envelopes

Load the paper into the Manual bypass one sheet at a time.

Up to 10 sheets of paper can be loaded into the Multi bypass tray.

➜When loading envelopes, load them with the flap facing up, as shown in the

illustration.

Note

Before loading envelopes, press them down to make sure that all a ir is removed,

and make sure that the folds of the flaps are firmly pressed, otherwise the

envelopes may become wrinkled or a paper misfeed may occur.

After you have loaded the envelopes, use the Control panel to specify the paper

size and paper type for the Bypass tray.
