Shooting a picture

Normally, photographs are taken with the subject at distances of 0.3 m or more.

3.Press the power button.

The lens cover will open automatically.

○* Do not open the lens cover by hand.

When the distance to the subject is 0.1 m to 0.3 m, please refer to Macro (Close-up) Photography.

Notes:

*When the power is already turned on with Playback () or set up (SET UP), set the mode select dial to Photo () to cancel these two modes and open the lens cover automatically.
