3. 1. 2 Open errors
When any cover or unit of the machine is open, any of the following messages will be displayed.
•Cover is opened. Close the Cover. or Printer is starting up.
•Roll Deck is open. Close the Roll Deck.
•Close the scanner cover.
3.1. 2. 1 Cover is open. Close the Cover. or Printer is starting up.
“Cover is open” is displayed when either Engine Unit or Toner Hatch (Original Table) is open. This message is also displayed when the machine is in the middle of starting up.
1.Check if the Engine Unit is closed (locked) firmly. If not, close it firmly.
NOTE
The Engine Unit may be opened slightly (unlocked) even if it looks closed firmly.
