UsingtheUltraNavpointingdevice
YourcomputermaycomewiththeUltraNavpointingdevice.TheUltraNavpointingdeviceconsistsofthe
TrackPointpointingdeviceandthetouchpad,eachofwhichisitselfapointingdevicewithbothbasicand
extendedfunctions.Youcancongurebothdevicesbychoosingthesettingsyouprefer.
•SetboththeTrackPointpointingdeviceandthetouchpadaspointingdevices.
ThissettingenablestheuseofallthebasicandextendedfunctionsoftheT rackPointpointingdevice
andthetouchpad.
•SettheTrackPointpointingdeviceasthemainpointingdeviceandthetouchpadforextended
functionsonly.
ThissettingenablestheuseofallbasicandextendedfunctionswiththeT rackPointpointingdevicewhile
limitingtheuseofthetouchpadtoscrolling,tapzones,andslow-motionpointerfunctions.
•SetthetouchpadasthemainpointingdeviceandtheTrackPointpointingdevicefortheextended
functionsonly.
Thissettingenablestheuseofallbasicandextendedfunctionswiththetouchpadwhilelimitingthe
useoftheTrackPointtoscrollingandMagnifyingGlassfunctions.
•SettheTrackPointpointingdeviceasthemainpointingdevice,anddisablethetouchpad.
•Setthetouchpadasthemainpointingdevice,anddisabletheTrackPointpointingdevice.
ChangingtheUltraNavpointingdevicesettings
OntheUltraNavtaboftheMousePr opertieswindow,youcanchangeyourUltraNavpointingdevice
settingsbyclickingStart➙ControlPanel➙HardwareandSound➙Mouse➙UltraNav.
