Attachinganexternalmonitor
Yourcomputercansupportamaximumvideoresolutionofupto2048x1536(withanexternalmonitor
attachedtotheVGAconnector)orupto2560x1600(withanexternalmonitorattachedtotheMini
DisplayPortconnector),providedthattheexternalmonitoralsosupportsthatresolution.Formoredetails,
refertothemanualsprovidedwithyourmonitor.
Youcansetanyresolutionforeitherthecomputerdisplayorthee xternalmonitor.Whenyouusebothatthe
sametime,theresolutionofbothisthesame.Ifyousetahigherresolutionforthecomputerdisplay,you
canseeonlypartofthescreenatatime.YoucanseeotherpartsbymovingtheimagewiththeTrackPoint
pointingdeviceoranotherpointingdevice.
Youcanmovethedisplayoutputtothecomputerdisplay,theexternalmonitor,orbothbypressingFn+F7.
