Docking station or port replicator problems

•Problem: The computer does not start when you try to turn it on, and does not respond when you try to resume operation.

Solution: Ensure that:

–The ac power adapter is connected to the port replicator.

–The computer is securely attached to the port replicator.

•Problem: Some functions of the port replicator do not work.

Solution: Ensure that:

–The ac power adapter is connected to the port replicator.

–The computer is securely attached to the port replicator.

–The port replicator attached to your computer is a ThinkPad Port Replicator Series 3, a ThinkPad Mini Dock Series 3, a ThinkPad Mini Dock Plus Series 3, a Port Replicator Series 3 with USB 3.0, a Mini Dock Series 3 with USB 3.0, or a Mini Dock Plus Series 3 with USB 3.0.
