TheTr ackPointpointingdeviceconsistsofapointingstick1onthekeyboardandthreeclickbuttonsatthe
bottomofthekeyboard.Tomovethecursor5onthescreen,youapplypressuretothenonslipcaponthe
pointingstickinanydirectionparalleltothekeyboar d;thepointingstickitselfdoesnotmove.Thespeedat
whichthecursormovesdependsonthepressureyouapplytothepointingstick.Thefunctionsoftheright
2andleft4clickbuttonscorrespondtothoseoftheleftandrightmousebuttonsonaconventionalmouse.
TheTr ackPointcenterbutton3,calledthescrollbar,enablesyoutoscrollWebpagesordocumentsinany
directionwithnoneedtousethegraphicscrollbarsonthesideofthewindow.
IfyouarenotfamiliarwiththeTrackP ointpointingdevice,readtheinstructionsthatwillhelpyougetstarted.
1.Placeyourhandsinthetypingposition,andpressgentlywitheitherindexngeronthepointingstickin
thedirectioninwhichyouwantthecursortomove.
Tomovethecursor,pressthepointingstickawayfromyoutomoveitup,towardyoutomoveitdown,
toonesideortheothertomoveitsideways.
Note:Thecursormightdrift.Thisisnotadefect.StopusingtheTrackPointpointingdeviceforafew
seconds,thecursorwillstopmoving.
2.T oselectanddragasrequiredbyyoursoftware,presstheleftorrightclickbuttonwitheitherthumb
andmovetheT rackPointpointingstick.
