returnfromsleep(standby)modetonormaloperationwhenatelephonecallcomesin.
Toenableyourcomputertowakeupfromsleep(standby)mode,dothefollowing:

2.ClickHardwareandSound.
3.ClickDeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconrmation,typethe
passwordorprovideconrmation.TheDeviceManagerwindowopens.
4.Double-clickModems(inWindowsVista,clickthe+markforModems),andthenclickyourmodem.
5.ClickthePowerManagementtab.
6.SelecttheAllowthisdevicetowakethecomputercheckbox.
ForWindowsXP:

Ifanadministrator'spassword(supervisorpassword)hasbeenset,youwillneedtospecifyitwhenyoustart

WakeonLAN
WhentheWakeonLANfeatureisenabledonacomputerthatisconnectedtoaLAN,anetworkadministrator
canstartthecomputerremotelyfromamanagementconsole,usingremotenetwork-managementsoftware.
