Printing photos from the computer using the printer software
1Load photo paper with the glossy or printable side facing you. (If you are not sure which side is the printable side,
then see the instructions that came with the paper.)
2To print the photos:
Using Windows
aDo one of the following:
In Windows Vista, click .
In Windows XP and earlier, click Start.
bClick All Programs or Programs, and then select the printer program folder from the list.
cSelect Lexmark Productivity Studio.
Note: This program may not appear in your printer program folder, depending on whether you chose to
install it with the printer software during installation.
dOpen the photo that you want to print.
eFollow the instructions on the computer screen to edit and print photos. You may also view the Help associated
with the program.
Using Macintosh
aCustomize the settings as needed in the Page Setup dialog.
1With a photo open, choose File Page Setup.
2From the “Format for” pop-up menu, choose the printer.
3From the Paper Size pop-up menu, choose a paper size.
4Click OK.
bCustomize the settings as needed in the Print dialog.
1With a photo open, choose File Print.
2From the Printer pop-up menu, choose the printer.
3From the print options pop-up menu, choose Quality & Media.
From the Paper Type pop-up menu, choose a paper type.
From the Print Quality menu, choose Automatic or Photo.
4Click Print.
Note: Manually choosing a paper type, even if you have a paper type sensor, turns off the sensor for the current
print job.
Printing photos from a memory device using the printer software
1Load photo paper with the glossy or printable side facing you. (If you are not sure which side is the printable side,
then see the instructions that came with the paper.)
2Insert a memory card, flash drive, or digital camera set to mass storage mode.
3From the printer control panel, press .
4Press the arrow buttons until Save Photos appears, and then press .
5Transfer the photos to the computer.
