GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK can kill.
• Disconnect input power by removing plug from receptacle before working inside
• Use only grounded receptacle.
•Do not touch electrically "hot" parts inside
•Have qualified personnel do the maintenance and troubleshooting work.
Problems

No Wire Feed, Weld | Welder not ON (“I”) |
Output or Gas Flow | Welder not plugged in |

| Wire Drive release open |
| Wire welded to tip |

| Tip or cable liner to small for wire |
| Trigger circuit connections loose |
| Dirty or Worn cable liner |
Wire feed too fast or slow Wrong speed set for work
Turn welder power ON (“I”)
Plug in - check both ends of input cable Inspect or Replace
Repair or Replace

Check - repair or replace cable or connectors Adjust Voltage
Use correct tip
Install new spool or reel
Change Drive Roll - Refer to proper section Replace
Close wire drive release Peel wire off or use new tip Remove wire, cut out kink, reload wire Insert correct tip or liner
Check connections
Clean or Replace - Refer to proper section Adjust wire feed speed at machine
