Initial set-up

Auto set-up (TV sets without RS-232C System Interface)

Make sure that the devices are set up correctly (page 8/9), all connections have been made properly (page 11,13) and that the microphone is connected and set up correctly (page 14).

Settings on TV set

On your TV set, (with Loewe TV sets in the "Connection wizard"), set the audio output to HiFi/AV amplifier.

Setting user interface language

Set the remote control up for TV operation.

Press the on/off button on the remote control to switch on the Loewe TV set.

Call up AV selection.

34 Select the AV programme position that the Sound Projector is connected to.

Confirm OK.

Set the remote control up for Sound Projector operation.

Press the on/off button on the remote control to switch on the Sound Projector.

Press the button for a long time.

The menu LANGUAGE SETUP appears.

The language selected is also shown on the display of the

Sound Projector (display always in English).

Starting auto set-up

Press the button for a long time.

The menu AUTO SETUP appears.

PREPARATION & CHECK Please connect the MIC. Please place the MIC at least 1.8m/6ft away from the SP unit. The MIC should be set at ear level when seated. Measurement takes about 3min. After [OK] is pressed,

please leave the room.

During auto set-up the listening room should be free of noise interference. Please leave the room during this time so that the sound beams can spread without disturbance.

If an error occurs during auto set-up, a warning will sound and a message will appear on the TV screen (page 26). If necessary, check the above described conditions for the Sound Projector to work perfectly.

Autoset-up takes about 3 minutes and a final chime sounds when it finishes.

You can save three listening positions and call them up again, for example, to be able to take changing conditions in the listening room into consideration.

Position the microphone at least 1.8 m away from the Sound Projector cen- tred on it on a level surface.
