Your 8411 Voice Terminal
The 8411 voice terminal is available in two models: the 8411D, shown below in Figure 1, has a display; the 8411B does not have a display. Although the display on the 8411D, along with the softkeys and display control buttons, offers the user valuable added functionality, both models are comprehensively equipped so you can make the best use of the many features of the Lucent Technologies DEFINITY® Enterprise Communications Server (ECS) Generic 1 or Generic 3 and System 75.
To familiarize yourself with the various features of your voice terminal, you can use Figure 1 below, which shows a top view of the 8411D voice terminal (the 8411B has the same button layout, but does not have a display), Figure 2, on page 5, which shows a bottom view, and Figure 3, on page 6, which shows a rear view of the 8411. The features offered on the 8411 voice terminal are explained below each figure.
