7. Align the control panel
The control panel should be aligned with the drawer fronts of the adjoining kitchen cabinets by adjusting the filler strips.
^Using an 8 mm socket, turn the nut clockwise or counterclockwise until the filler strips line up with the drawer line.
If necessary, individual or all of the filler strips can be removed.
^To remove the filler strips from the control panel, place the panel printed side up, and gently push down near the bottom of the control panel. This will release the mounting bolts from their slots.
^After adjusting the control panel height, cut off the plastic screw ex- cess.
Control Panel Height
4 1/2" control panel with-
(112 mm): out filler strips,
5 3/4" control panel with
(145 mm): four filler strips,
6" using a fifth filler strip (154 mm): (optional accessory).
