BOUNCE FLASH
Strong shadows appear when flash is used with a wall directly behind the subject. In such cases the flash is directed at the ceiling etc. so that the subject is illuminated with reflected light, and the intensity of the shadows are reduced to produce a softer light in the photograph.

• The bounce lock engages at the 0° position. The |

• The flash range is not displayed on the data panel when the flash is |

rotated upwards or left and right. |
| |||||||||
• Use a white ceiling or wall to reflect the flash. A colored surface may |
| |||||||||
color the light. High ceilings or highly reflective surfaces such as glass |
| |||||||||
are not recommended. |
