Personalising Your Handset

Personalising a Ring Style

You can change the alerts that notify you of the following events: incoming calls, text messages, voicemail messages, data calls, alarms, and reminders. Any changes you make are saved to the current ring style.

Find the Feature		M > Ring Styles > Alert Detail
Alert represents the current ring style.
Press		To
1	S	scroll to the event
2	CHANGE (+)	select the event
3	S	scroll to the event you want
4	SELECT (+)	select the alert

Note: Some ring tones vibrate automatically. If you use one of these tones, your phone vibrates even when it is not set to Vibrate or Vibe&Ring. To turn off these vibrations, see page 101.

Activating Ringer IDs

When ringer IDs are turned on, your handset uses distinctive ringer alerts to notify you of incoming calls or messages from specific entries stored in your contacts or specific categories of entries in your contacts.
