| b) Earpiece speaker defective. | Temporarily replace the speaker with a known |

| call and verify improvement in earpiece audio. If |

| fault is cleared, reassemble the phone with the |

| good transceiver board. If fault is not cleared, |
|

7. Telephone will not recognize or accept | a) USIM card defective. | Check the USIM card contacts for dirt. Clean if |

9. Internal Charger not working. | Faulty charger circuit on transceiver | Test a selection of batteries in the rear pocket of |
