Command Syntax
Commands are not case-sensitive. That is, up percase and lowercase characters may
be interchanged freely.
To perform a command, you will need to specify the command followed by the
Path.
For example: Console>show ip route (this sh ows routes in the routing table).
Conventions Used
The following conventions are used in this document to convey instructions and
information:
Commands are in boldface
Variables that you supply are in pointed brackets <>
Optional keywords are in square brackets [ ]
Alternative but mandatory keywo rds are grouped in braces { } and separated by
a vertical bar |
Information displayed on screen is displayed in text font.
