If this icon is displayed, “threshold excess” has occurred in any pool for snapshot just
before stopping monitoring.
Note 1. When the event or fault (except critical fault) that needs “maintenance�� in any component occurs, whether
icon displays as “ ” or not, is based on the environment setting of the client. Switch in “Display
Maintenance State” in the environment setting dialog by selecting [File] [Environment Settings] from
menu. Refer to 5.2 “Client Start/Stop” for details.
Note 2. Although a fault is displayed in “ ”, whether it deserves the critical fault is according to the
determination by the higher layer, and the specified icon is displayed. Refer to 3.2.2 “Description of Screen
and Operation” for status icon of component and display in the higher layer.
Note 3. If a threshold excess occurred in pool for snapshot, the icon “ ” is displayed. If, however, the integrated
operating state of pool is faulty or an event or fault (except critical fault) that needs “maintenance”
occurred, the icon displays the integrated operating state. For details on actions to be taken when a
threshold excess occurred, refer to the “Snapshot User's Manual (Function Guide)”.
Note 4. The shades of gray of icon indicate the monitoring st atus of a target disk array. When an icon is dimmed,
the monitoring of the corresponding disk array stops.
